Little League Senior Softball World Series – Lee King

Lee was born in Providence, Rhode Island in 1949. He graduated in 1972 from Virginia Wesleyan College. He has worked in the petroleum business since 1970 and recently retired from Valero Refining in 2009.

He has one son Langdon, currently an upcoming Junior at Coastal Carolina University. Lee has been married to his wife, Sula, for 23 years.

He joined Dulles Little League in 1996 and has been a Little League umpire since 1999. He also umpires local high school softball and baseball, as well as refereeing basketball. He has umpired in numerous Virginia state tournaments since 2005 for Big League Softball. He was invited and umpired at two Southeastern Regional tournaments for Senior Softball in 2007 and 2009. This year Lee King has been selected to umpire at the Senior Softball World Series.
